The Big Brother is the alleged and superior dictator in the novel named "1984" by George Orwell. He has driven the control and the oppression of his citizens to the perfection. Everyone is under complete surveillance. Big Brother is everywhere. He sees everything, knows everything about every individual and pursues its citizens to the most intimate areas of life.

But while in Orwell's novel the monitoring system was politically motivated, the actual reality after 1984 is much more prosaic. The rational man is above all the consuming person. In the reality of the saturated markets is any information about the potential consumer precious commodity. The consumption promotes the gathering of information and their interconnection.

We are all under constant observation. But is it really the big sinister brother?
